We will be running our next set of beginner’s classes from 8th April 2024.
This will be a 8 week course that will introduce you to a variety of techniques and projects. The course will cover slab building, coil building, throwing, decorating techniques and glazing. This course is designed to give you the confidence and experience of being able to work more independently in our studio.
Once you have completed the 8 week course, you can then move on to our new Clay Club. Clay Clubbers will be able to access the studio for up to 8 hours a week during opening hours. They will get their own storage shelf and guidance from our in house technicians.
We are running two beginner’s classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Both run from 6pm til 8pm. Please choose either the Monday or Wednesday class to attend.
Cost for the 8 week beginner’s class is £280 which includes all materials and firings.

The classes are all suitable for beginners aged 14 plus and are relaxed and friendly.
Taster Sessions
These are great ways to explore your interest in clay or as a great present for someone else!
During this 2.5 hour session, you will make either a mug or tea light holder. You can then decorate your pieces with coloured slips. Our team will then fire and glaze your pieces ready to for you to collect in around 4 weeks.
